Brilliant's enhanced synthetic wound strings are designed for performers looking for the most concentrated sound and fast tuning stability. The strings have a synthetic winding, so the manufacturer recommends a period of approximately three days for them to reach maximum tone quality. Two types of D strings are available:
D - hydronalium provides a rich tone and high attack capability when required.
D - silver gives a warmer and softer sound
